Dollar Stores in Louisiana are spreading rapidly and Dollar Store workers are organizing for safe stores, better pay, and better working conditions.

Workers led a survey process that landed on safety and wages as the two biggest concerns.
During the COVID-19 pandemic Dollar Store workers are on the front line as essential workers and have been organizing for paid sick days. Here is Tay Jones from Dollar Tree in New Orleans with her Letter to the Editor in The Advocate.
